Also includes a silent auction, live music with Hipster Cocktail Party, a specialty chef-prepared meal, and of course fantastic company! Cocktail attire requested.

Everyone seems to know someone affected by Parkinson's disease. The number of people being diagnosed is growing by the day. Your participation will help provide the necessary funding needed by the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons' Research and the Parkinson Association of Northern California to produce solutions and services for the many who suffer from this incurable and difficult disease.

Speakers include the Bay Area’s Jean-Pierre (JP) Conte, businessman, sailor and philanthropist, and his good friend Paul Cayard, world-class American sailor and Olympian, renowned for winning the Whitbread Round the World Race and for his leadership as an America’s Cup skipper. Both JP and Paul’s families came to the United States from France, and both men have personal connections to Parkinson’s Disease. They will be joined on stage by distinguished French sailor Bertrand Delhom, recognized as the first person with Parkinson’s to race around the world in the Ocean Globe Race (OGR --formerly the Whitbread) on Neptune, a 60 ft. aluminum sloop designed by Andre Mauric, and doctor and skipper Tan Raffray, adding international perspective and storytelling to an unforgettable program.

The next OGR will take place in 2027. Neptune will once again race with People with Parkinson’s from different countries on each leg. The OGR will highlight Neptune’s participation representing Parkinson’s Awareness and raise funds worldwide.
